mulberry hill

Mulberry Hill, a National Trust property is a historical house and estate, open on Sundays for guided tours and available for wedding, functions, group tour and education bookings. The Spencer Leason Park located on the property is open daily, welcoming people to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the grounds.
Mulberry Hill is renowned as the home of Sir Daryl Lindsay (artist) and Lady Joan Lindsay (author of Picnic at Hanging Rock). Designed by Harold Desbrowe Annear, this magnificent American-colonial style house was built in 1926 as an extension to a pre-existing 1880's cottage.
Sir Darly Lindsay was an accomplished artist, former Director of the National Gallery of Victoria, inaugural president and founding member of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) and was knighted in 1957.
Lady Joan Lindsay is most recognised for her novel, Picnic at Hanging Rock and wrote several publications, as well as being an artist.
The house and its contents, a collection of high quality Australian art, Georgian furniture and glassware and Staffordshire ceramics was bequeathed to the National Trust by Sir Daryl and Lady Joan Lindsay.

INXS helped shape the Australian musical landscape in the 80’s and 90’s. Their infectious blend of dance/rock saw them conquer the music charts not only in Australia but worldwide. They built a reputation for staging electric and engaging live shows, fronted by their charismatic and unpredictable front man, Michael Hutchence.

INXSIVE reproduce not only the sound of INXS, but also the live show that made them as memorable as they are today. INXSIVE give every audience the opportunity to re-experience the inspiring and proudly Australian music that INXS created throughout their career. INXSIVE have been performing for pubs, nightclubs, theaters, corporate and larger outdoor events, both locally and nationally since 1997.

INXSIVE are an absolute “must see” for all INXS fans and lovers of iconic Australian music!

Midnight Oil were more than just a rock & roll band. From the northern beaches of Sydney to the streets of Manhattan, they stopped traffic, inflamed passions, inspired fans, challenged the concepts of “business as usual” and broke new ground.

To see Midnight Oil in full flight was to experience the full visceral, transcendent, kinetic power of live rock & roll. To experience Midnight Oil was to b...e inspired by ideas, to be encouraged to live life more passionately, to get involved in the world around you.

Garry Hickman's amazing portrayal of Peter Garrett rocked Australian stages in the first authorized Oils tribute "Head Injuries" back in the 90's. No one since then has ever been game to tackle the role!
In 2017 Garry returns with Dylan Boyd and the boys from acclaimed Foo Fighter Show - The Faux Fighters.

Celebrating the return of the Oils to stages worldwide, THE MIDNIGHT OIL SHOW pay tribute to the music, the influences, and the artistry of our mighty Midnight Oil. Here come the Hercules!!
